How to peel an egg in under 10 seconds

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare Your Hard-Boiled Eggs

Start by boiling your eggs using your preferred method until they’re hard-boiled. Once cooked, remove them from the boiling water and let them cool slightly. You can either use freshly boiled eggs or refrigerated ones – both work perfectly fine with this hack.

Step 2: Get Your Glass or Jar Ready

Take a glass or jar with a lid – any size will do as long as it’s large enough to hold the egg and has a wide opening. Make sure the glass or jar is clean and dry before you begin.

Step 3: Add Water to the Glass or Jar

Fill the glass or jar with a small amount of water, just enough to cover the bottom. You don’t need a lot – around a quarter to half an inch of water should suffice.

Step 4: Place the Egg in the Glass or Jar

Take one of your hard-boiled eggs and gently place it inside the glass or jar on top of the water. Ensure that the egg is sitting upright and not submerged in the water.

Step 5: Seal the Glass or Jar with the Lid

Securely seal the glass or jar with the lid. Make sure it’s tightly closed to prevent any water from leaking out during the next step.

Step 6: Shake, Shake, Shake!

Now comes the fun part – it’s time to shake! Hold the sealed glass or jar firmly with both hands and shake it vigorously for about 5-10 seconds. The goal here is to create enough force to crack the eggshell without damaging the egg itself.

Step 7: Remove the Egg

After shaking, carefully open the lid of the glass or jar. You’ll find that the eggshell has cracked into numerous small pieces, making it incredibly easy to remove. Gently lift the egg out of the glass or jar, and watch as the shell practically slides off, leaving you with a perfectly peeled egg in record time!
